City of Ostrołęka makes sure that residents do not have to travel by car, but can choose either their own or city bike for transport. The city's bike infrastructure has been enriched with four more repair stations. The new facilities are located at the city bike rental stations. Each station is equipped with tools and accessories enabling the ongoing maintenance of two-wheelers. The following are available on site: a cross screwdriver, a flat screwdriver, an adjustable wrench, two flat wrenches, a set of hexes and two tire levers with a steel core. An extremely useful and practical element is, above all, a stationary hand pump with a plunger and a pressure gauge.

Convenient brackets on both sides of the station make it possible to immobilize and suspend the vehicle by the saddle or frame, which will facilitate the necessary work. Scanning the QR code on the objects will redirect us to the bike repair manual. The solar modules suspended at the top provide LED lighting that allows the use of facilities at any time of the day or night.

For the implementation of the project "Safe and comfortable driving around Ostrołęka - purchase of municipal bicycle repair stations", the Ostrołęka City received a grant of PLN 20,000 under the "Empower Your Environment" program. The program is organized by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne Spółka Akcyjna.
